made for the GMTK Game Jam 2026

This game is basically a productivity timer where you help a dying world by spending time doing things in real life to get unlockables and hints towards a larger puzzle.

HOWEVER THIS GAME USES A REALTIME CLOCK TO COUNTDOWN TO AUG 2ND AT WHICH POINT THE WORLD WILL END AND THE GAME WILL BE UNPLAYABLE!!!

so do your best to solve the puzzle before then : P

7-27 update: thanks so much for the love on this tiny game pals. i spent all of day 1 just drawing ideas for characters and thinking about what i wanted the narrative to say, so it's super rewarding to hear so many of you connecting with this game after 4 non stop days of trying to bring this game to life!

i spent an especially long time tuning just how hard you have to throw the little guy to get the shooting star particles to start ahaha, if you wanna fly REALLY far, you gotta let go!

for anyone that has gotten all 9 of their own planets and needs an extra hint on how to solve the puzzle, you can check out this inforgraphic hint.

I've been loving the game so far, but I'm completely stuck trying to figure out the song that turns back time. I saw the infographic and translated 'SAVE THE WORLD' into the numerical code, but entering it doesn't seem to trigger anything. I feel like I've tried every possible way  at this point, so I must be missing something. Does anyone have a hint on what I might be doing wrong or how it's supposed to be entered? I'd really love to finish the game. Thanks in advance!

i don't want to post too many hints in the comments, so i will maybe post another hint for the final task in an infographic later! it uses the same system that lets you change color!

(+1)

I don't understand how changing my guy's color works, I did it once on accident but I wanna change back ):

to change back, you can refresh the game! but if you want a tip on how the mechanic works, i just posted an infographic hint in the description!

For a jam game, this was a lovely trip. I didn't figure out the puzzles until I came back to the game today, which felt satisfying.

The 'end of the world' timer and "clean your room" timer being in perfect sync — along w/ the ticking clock in the bg — feels like the perfect juxtaposition...like, "why bother when the world's about to end? isn't there something more important i should be doing?"

of course, I think by the end of the game, it becomes quite clear that all these little things are the MOST important! to quote Vonnegut — "we're here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different."

thank you so much for playing and for the kind words! i really appreciate your thoughts on the theme as well, it means a lot that you took the time to think on this tiny game :' )

Love how fresh this feels. The visuals are so unapologetically creative and the premise is so interesting

Really good entry, congrats

Cute and immediately eye catching! I love everything art wise
Gameplay is nice little reminders I enjoyed, I'm getting lag whenever the collectibles spin/I mouse over them but nothing detrimental :3

I love this so much! You always manage to create such adorable, artistic experiences, and this is no exception. I'm saving my walk and exercise session for tomorrow because I can't let this world end!!!

It honestly gave me a bit of Hylics vibes. To be frank, this looks insanely stylish - I absolutely love the character designs! I actually originally wanted to make something about a black hole too, but my 3D skills definitely wouldn't be enough to pull off something like this (my skills lean more towards 2D and atmosphere/impressiveness).

I really have no right to criticize, as this fits my vision so well (love the dithering and characters!). The only small thing is that newcomers might find it a bit tough due to the amount of dialogue, but that’s a classic game jam thing - last time I made a game with a similar loop, and not many people actually finished it. Overall, the game is REALLY, REALLY cool, the atmosphere and everything are just top-tier.

Honestly, huge respect to the dev! I loved it. If you don't mind, feel free to add me/connect - I'd love to follow your work and hopefully stay in touch for the future!

Such a cool concept! I think if anyone needs a pomodoro timer or some ideas for how to kill some time, this game's it! I already follow you on insta due to your art being amazing, so its a given that this game would be as gorgeous as it is! Great work!

Checkout my game if you got the time!
